In order to float a roughly 5000 lb. tractor, those "floats" would have to displace 600 gallons of water. That is also the equivalent of 80 cubic feet. Provided the owner/driver didn't want the clutch lapping the water line, floatation would have to be achieved by only about the bottom one-fourth of those "wheels".

Now mud might be a different story...
