The IH part number for the shock absorber is 351750R93. NAPA or any automotive parts supply should be able to match the number to a Monroe number, which is what IH used. If not, you can follow CNKS suggestion.

Whenever I ask NAPA to try and cross reference an IH #, they tell me they can"t. They don"t even try. What"s the deal with that?

Frank, I would think it depends on whether your neighborhood NAPA store has a tractor reference catalog. Of course they arent in the business of providing tractor parts, but items like shocks, tune up kits, spark plugs, and things like that, they do carry in their main distribution center. It is another thing as to whether an individual store would choose to utilize the market. The same goes for heavy truck parts. Some stores do, some don"t, but NAPA at large does. What I"m saying in essence is that if Monroe, or champion, or Autolight, or Delco, or Bosch, etal makes them, NAPA can get them.

May be possible that NAPA can get them, been several years since I tried. More parts are available now, I would be interested to know if they can get them.

I doubt if you find it there. Try OEM Tractor Parts 800-283-2122, or Steel Wheel Ranch 785-548-7437.
