I have received a lot of insight from this forum that has helped me in the rebuild of my 350U. I am trying to remove the transmission cover and it won"t budge. I have the hydraulic resevoir off and all the bolts are out from the top side and even have a hoist to put a little pressure on the thing. I also have used a cold chisel and a little persuasion with a hammer on the corners, but still no go. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe there's 13 bolts that hold cover. Won't hurt to count them. Sometimes covers are tough to break loose. CNKS idea will usually work, though !

Don't use a chisel. Get a rigid paint scraper, you can carefully drive it in without gouging anything. If you are sure you have all the bolts out, theres nothing holding it but rust. Be sure the shifter is in neutral.

Thanks, I'll try the paint scraper.

Super Dave, I am thinking there are 2 bolts in the bottem of the resevoir in the back I think. I`ve had one apart but it was 2 years ago.
