How rare is the factory rear toolbox for the 300/350/330U's? Every picture I have seen of them never shows one.Mine has/had one.The lid was lost and the box has a bad crease near the base that will be very hard to get out.I have made my own lid for it,but need to get that wretched dent out of it first.

I have a 1959 350U 2nd owner with toolbox and battery cover. I think I know someone that can build them.

As far as I know the toolboxes came on all the 300,350U tractors, so they were not rare. Fifty years later that's a different story. Four out of five will not have a box. Seem to have gone the way of the battery covers, and almost as hard to find.

How do you lose the battery cover to a 300 ag? Where do you mount the seat? :)

The Utes have the battery between your legs underneath the dash(Scary when I first saw that!).The toolbox goes behind the seat, above the fasthitch linkages.
