Loosen the tube fitting at the carburetor to see if a good flow of gas is here. If the flow is ok your problem is in the carburetor. If you have just a trickle of gas or just a drip you have blockage in the fuel tank, gas line or sediment bowl. It could be dirt or a gummy deposit from unleaded gas. You do not want any dirt or gummy
deposit to get into that new carburetor. Disconnect the fuel line at the carb. If you have just a drip, blow some air through the fuel line.
If you get fuel to flow freely after doing this
your gas tank probably needs to be cleaned. Hal

You should get the engine running before you make adjustments on the governor. It may not have required any adjustments. Find the fuel problem
so you can get the engine started. Hold your hand over the intake of the carb and see if you feel any suction while the engine is being cranked and if the engine starts. You'll
need a helper to do this. The first thing is to see if gas flowing to the carb. Loosen that gas line. Hal
