we are finally getting our first significant snow fall of the season here in good'ole SD!!!! up until this point we've had a total of 2 1/2 inches but not all at once. we'd get a 1/2" then melt, then a dusting, then melt and so on. on sunday we picked up about 2" of fluff and now it's been snowing since mid afternoon. about 4" now on top of the fluff!!! i know it's not much but i love snow and have been dieing to get the 766D with the blower out. i don't think we'll get enough though since it's fading off so the loader will have to do.

casey in SD

I used to live in Flandreau. where the the big casino is. My mom lives across the street from it. It is very dry over there so pray for more...

Casey;
I notice we haven't had enough snow up here to keep the chickens from going outside, so now the only thing that stays inside will be our snowblower!
But, every little bit of moisture helps...lets hope it continues.
PS: Did you see the auction south of Waubay with the following?
"IHC 966 D-Tractor - red cab - 3 pt., dual hyd. 18.4-34, 500 hrs. on overhaul w/Miller loader grapple fork & bale spear - v. nice."
