I just completed my total rebuild of the engine and clutch/P.Plate on my "51 H. I want to do away with the belly pump and add live hydraulics...what all will I need to replace on and add to the tractor to get this task complete...Thanks for the help!

you can use the old belly pum for a reservoir.

You'll need the live pump that fits in between the front cover and the distributor. You'll need a reservoir, at least one open-center spool valve, hoses, and fittings.

Hopefully money isn't an object. Good pumps are hard to find, and pricey.

The rest of the stuff is just generic. Many people use the gutted belly pump reservoir for the live reservoir, but it has a limited capacity. Some mount an external tank for more oil capacity.

Are you sure you want to do this? I don't have a problem with it myself, but by the time you are done you could easily spend in excess of $500. And that is provided that you can even find a live hydraulic pump in good condition. But don't let me discourage you. It can be done.
