m and super m carberator the same?

I need to know if a m carberatoris the dame as a super m carb, especially the bowl. I drill out the main jet hole on my super m carb by mistake now I looking for a stock bowl just wondering if the bols are the dame?

SM bowl choke lever is located engine block side
of bowl.M outside,they will bolt on each other
though.As CNKS pointed out you could have metering
problems.

They may appear to be the same, but the jets are different. If the Super M carb (I don't have one) is adjusted the same as the Super H, max power is obtained with the main jet screw 5 turns out, as opposed to the M which is 1/2 turn or so open after it runs smooth. I would guess the bowls are the same, but you will need the Super M jet. Someone with both parts catalogs needs to compare the numbers to be sure. On the other hand, why don't you just replace the jet (if you can get it out)
