You know how it will go - you'll spend days getting the fixturing just right, wind up making three before one is just right. And then you'll come across a really nice one. You might as well get started, or you'll never find it.

SMV ? Super M High crop ?

RB,

LOL! Yep, you're probably right; that's the way it always goes.

SMV=Slow Moving Vehicle (sign).

Thanks,

Allan

Allan, do you need the whole assembly, as you have pictured, or just the socket that bolts to the bottom of that assembly with two bolts, for the SMV to slide into? If you just need the socket, any dealer should have a new one on the shelf. Part number 398976R1 in the 686 book.

Mornin' KB,

No, I have the sockets laying around here. I need that "T" shaped bracket.

I'll probably end up having to build one, but I was hoping to find an original. They came on all tractors without a cab and equipped with a manual seat starting back with the 56 series and ran up thru the 86 series (I think).

Thanks,

Allan

Hey Allan- The hardest part of making one is gonna be drilling those square holes that the baling wire goes through when ya wire the sign to it ;)

Thanks Rick,

I can "make" one. That's not the point; I'm 'picky' and want an original. :>)

Appreciate the offer,

Allan

nothing here but I'd think a creative guy like you could make one in about 2 jerks of a lambs tail.
