Idiscovered at noon today my B has a cracked block Iwould like to keep tractor for sentimental value can anyone help me

It is cracked on top of the deck just behind first water jacket around #2 liner allthe way back to just in front of #4 liner

Bet it's cracked behind the carburetor. I have seen many of the repaired in that area. It should be fine once repaired.

I have a A with a patch that runs front to rear. about 5.5 inches wide. 3\16 thick and a lot of 1\4 inch screws. rite behind the carb. Dosent leak water, and runs good. Bill

As RAW said, it depends on where it's cracked. B blocks are wet sleeve, so it can live with some cracks.

Depends on where it is cracked, it is possible to repair some. My son' F-20, which was my Grandpa's, has a repaired block. It froze up many years ago, and when my youngest brother fixed it up, he had a cousin weld it up. It had pushed out on one side, but didn't get into anything important. He did a real nice job of it and it is holding good.
