Going through six lights to make three for the 49 H. Have two different lenses. One is smooth on the outside, has the "Guide Tractor Light" lettering
and "TOP" on it. The third is a cut glass finish on the outside, little squares, and you can read
"Guide" at bottom, and "Top" at the top. Both are same diameter. Was one for the rear light? More diffussion? The cut glass lens looks older. HAs anyone ordered lenses from OEM or anyone else. Where can you get the correct "Guide Tractor lens" marked lens? Which bulb is higher amp? 1129 or 1133? They both fit in the sockets. And last, where can I get reflectors recoated. OEM has new ones for 18 dollars but it seems they can be remirrored for less than that. Somewhere I had a company that would do that but I lost it. I'm going to have two as new restored Guide front lights left over if anyone needs one TIA Gordo-SD

I thought I would take the advice and use a rattle can chrome. So I wet sanded the reflector with 360. It really brightened up. Checked it with a magnet, it's aluminium. So I gave it some 600, some 1000, some 1500. And it looked like a mirror. So just to gloat, I gave it a few minutes with cotton buffing wheel and machine compond, followed with some jewelr's rouge. Wanna guess what happened? Clearcoat and install. (Where is that damn spring?) I am going to reread all the posts re photos and see if I can show you "better than new reflectors, free".

unless you are going to drive the tractor at night I'd just spray the reflectors with "mexican chrome" If you realy need light I'd recomend something brighter than the "correct" farmall lights.

I don't think you will find any replacement lenses with the "GUIDE" logo on them. I believe the cut glass lens would be correct for both front and rear, I've never seen a smooth lens on anything. The correct bulb number is the 1133.

When I said "smooth, I meant smooth, not "clear". The "smooth" refers to the outside surface. It is "cutglass" on the INSIDE. The other is cutglass, sort of, on the OUTSIDE.
