A while back, I was in the process of overhauling a IH 706 gas. I fianlly got it all back together, and it is ready to fire up! Oil is primed up, See what happens next! ChadS

Before the turn of the century, (1900) most railroads assigned locomotives to individual engineers. When it had to go into the shops for an overhaul or heavy repairs, he was out of work until it was finished. It was customary to pass out cigars when it was put back into service.
