I was watching the episode that has the Farmall F20 with the 8 foot wheels (aka Big Foot). The owner said that it was an attempt to sew wheat but I didn't the rest of the planting condition. Anyone else hear the rest of the story?

Can you imagine how fast that tractor must have been? Every gear too fast but low. Maybe some easy way was figured out to slow it, I wonder....

he said the guy had the brilliant idea to plant wheat between corn rows. set it up with 3 individual grain drills, ran it for about 4 1/2 hours, it worked like crap(who would have guessed) and he parked it.

the center of the wheels were the original 4 foot with the big rims added.

what i thought was cool was the reporter was asking everybody what it was and the oldtimers had no idea but a kid about 14 said "i think its an f-12 hi crop". it was an f-20. pretty sharp.

the one i loved was the 1206 turbo. 12,000 lbs of dual wheeled pure muscle!

I took a liking to the EB 3 wheeler. I wouldn't mind seeing more footage of the huge farm auction too.

It's on RFD-TV channel 379 on Directv, don't know the dish network number. I saw the tractor, but was about half asleep when watching it, so did not hear the explanation.

It was on the RFD Channel 379 Directv. The owner said the steel wheels ( 8ft diameter )were home shop made in an attempt to drill wheat between standing corn rows. That's all I heard.
