I just did mine it held a little over 13 gal. and as said befor a 1/2 plug to check the level 80/90 gear oil but they recomend 90 weight menerial oil for foming but the bull gear in that dif. will not spin fast enought to cause foaming in the newer gear oils.

Owners manual says 13 gallons of SAE-90 oil for the transmission and differential for temperatures above zero. For use in temperatures below zero add two gallons of kerosene into the transmission case. After adding kerosene operate the tractor until the mixture is thoroughly warm and then drain down to the level plug.

On the clutch side of the rear end casting just below the clutch rod, there is a 1/2" pipe plug. You have the correct level of rear end lubricant when it starts to run out of this hole.

I'm not sure exactly how much it holds without looking it up, but seems to me is about 13 gallons.
