I have located a MV tractor siting in a fence row for the last ten years or so. Typical rusty sheet metal, bad radiator, bad tires, engine is free, tractor was converted to LP in 1969. Missing rear drawbar. Not broken and welded on any castings that I could see. Tractor serial number plate is gone but someone stamped the number in the housing 61209. Engine serial number is FBXMV60474 . Could this be a Super MV
because it has disc brakes and it has the super emblem on the nose cone? Battery was originally under the fuel tank. Don't know what this tractor is worth in this condition. Would like your opinions of what this tractor is worth.
I would like to make a fair offer for it.

The engine serial prefix for an MV should be FBKVM, according to Guy Fay's book, Super MV will say C 264 -- C 264 will also be cast on the right side of the block. SM/SMV factory disk brakes will have 5 bolts holding the cover on, Lambert add-ons will have 3. MV/SMV chassis serials 294226-up also had the factory 5 bolt disks.

I watch one like you discribe sell at Atchison this last summer. MV-LP, engine ran good. Lots of oil leaks from the drop boxes, good rear tires, front tires shot, no draw bar, flywheel ring gear bad. $3750
