I'm still looking for the guy that responded to my comment last November about looking for a mid-70s Ford pickup. Somebody said he had one and wondered where I was located. His handle was F250 and his e-mail was hidden so I couldn't respond to him directly. Are you still out there somewhere? P.S. if he doesn't respond I'm trying to find a mid-70s Ford 4X4 with a 4-speed for trailer pulling and misc. hauling, hopefully in reasonably good condition, if anyone else in the midwest has one they want to part with please let me know. Thanks, Brian

Cant beat those 70s Ford trucks.Classic styling, tried and true components, and a lack of plastic junk means a truck that will last and last and last. One big move on Ford's part was the wheelwell liners which Dodge and GM didnt have.Sure helped make things take the elements a lot better. Now of course the fender liners are pretty much standard issue.A case of following Ford's lead. The 1977 F-Series started Fords dominance in pickups.....they have led sales ever since as a single brand nameplate.I myself prefer the 78/79 front ends with square headlamps.78 was a great year for Ford.Of course the prior yeared "Jesse Duke" Fords were legends too...

I have a '76 Ford 3/4 ton crewcab. Trouble is, it is a 2 wheel drive. Has a 460 engine with about 40,000 on a complete rebuild. Automatic with air. I used it to pull horse trailers, squeeze chutes, and flat bed equipment trailers. I know this isn't what you put in your ad, but thought I would pass this along, in case it might interest you. PS body is in great shape, mechanically it rates a good.
