I have an farmall h motor with a lot of old grease and paint and surface rust on it. what would be the best way to clean it. Also what would the cost difference be.

They charge $45.00 in my area to do it. Makes it nice and clean to reassemble the engine. You can prime and paint too. Hal

around hear most all of the machine shops use the bake method because of the high cost of disposing of the caustic solution with the hot tank method. they both give the same result.

Hi John,

I don"t know what they charge at a machine shop, but you can"t bet much better than hot tankin".
