Neighbor just tore up the plates in his feed grind .No Luck at dealer Part#229F 4 3/8 ID 6 3/8 OD Anybody know where to look? Thanks Chuck K.

If this is a grinder/mixer that needs screens you might be able to get them from Artsway since they manufatured them for IH. You can reach them at their website which I think is Artsway.com. If they don't have it I'll bet they can make one for you.

Hi Chuck, I would go with what the Cowman recommends on having them made and have that hard facing welded on them. I have it put on my tiller tines to cut down on the wear. Hal

here's my suggestion. have a machine shop make them out of steel plate. then use hard surface weld to build ridges on them. I told this to a man the other night and he said that they have an abasive weld that he thought might work real good. I forget what he called it, something they use on horseshoes I think.
