There is a foot brake assembly on e-bay for a F12. Last one I bidded on went for over $400. My wife has already forbid me to even think about bidding this time.(something about those brake pedals wouldn't make a very soft pillow while I was sleeping on the tractor) Has anyone that owns one of these ever thought about having castings made and selling reproductions? I could probably get away with spending $100 or so for a repro. I think others probably would too.
Just thinking out loud. Kevin

I have a foot brake setup on my 34 f-12. I think you could make one up okay. I don't really care for them very much. They sit rather close to the seat which makes it hard for me to work it comfortably. I slipped one time getting on my machine in a light rain and really hurt my shin on it. I can scan in some pics of mine if you want? Just email me and I can also give you the name of where I got mine. just a side note, I think you'd be happier spending the $400 on an overdrive, I love mine.

I have an F-14 with these foot brakes on. They are not castings that I am aware of, but steel stampings. I have never given it a thought about repro'ing them. I will look at them this weekend to see what it would take.

Let me know what you come up with. I'd love to have a set, but you know...sleep outside in the cold or inside with the wife...
