Hi Chuck, If you can not find any replacement
plates, you can probably remove them and have a machine shop fabricate some from the old plates.
They can probably harden them too after they finish the machining and drilling. Hal

I wonder if you are talking about a hammermill or a McCormick feed grinder. The hammermill has swinging hammers in it and the feed grinder has the plates. The plate type feed grinders came in 6, 8 and 10 inch sizes I believe. I've seen some parts for these a the Red Power Roundup vendor area. I suggest you put an ad in the classifieds here and maybe you will get a response. Also, if you are not aware, the plates are reverseable. That is both sides have the "teeth" on them and you can just take them off the rotor and turn them over. In your ad, be specific as to size you need, also there were many different kinds of the plates depending on the application. I have an 8 inch type B McCormick grinder. No extra plates though.
