Running fine until wouldn't start. Have very weak
spark at spark plug. Checked points. Okay setting.
Suspect it is the magneto. Can it be tested and fixed? If not where can I get rebuilt. Thanks for
any help.

Before you pull that magneto off the engine, be sure to make a note where the rotor is pointing
in the cap so you can reinstall the rebuilt mag with the rotor in the same position.

Do not crank the engine while the mag is off. This is so your mag will be time with NO1 piston.

Magman: I guess I'm too late before you list your mag on e-bay. Question: do you think I can
replace coil or condenser and make mine work.
Also, where will I find it on E-bay. Thanks
for your help. Mags are new to me.

Try posting for the Magman. He rebuilds mags and would probably take yours on a trade for a rebuilt unit. Hal

Hi Jon,, When you do something that may start out
as a hobby or something that you like to do, you eventually get good at it. Then you can make some money and provide a service that has been almost lost.

One of my retired co-workers took up photography as a hobby and even though he never worked as a photographer, he became very good at it. By word of mouth he now videos and photographs weddings. He now has more work than he can handle. Hal

Yes, you can replace the coil in it. There is a guy by the name of Joe Faust, he is in Minnesota. He repairs them and he also sells parts to fix them. I have seen is ads in teh Red Power magazine issues.
