My neighbor is restoring a 240 and we need to find hardware for the sheetmetal. The pieces we need hold the white metal side pieces on. It is a little nut with ears on it that twist and lock to the tractor. We would also like to find the bolts that go through them too. If anybody knows what I am talking about and where we can find them let me know, thanks.

For my 340, I bought a box of 100 Serrated Flange Hex Head 5/16-18 thread x 3/4" stainless steel from my local Fasental outlet for about $20. All of my cage nuts were in place so didn't have to worry about those.

Eric, does the 240 use philips, slot or hex head fastners. The cage-nuts, I probably have, but would need to know the thread size. I'm not too familiar with the 240/340 ,etc, models.

They are hex heads with slots. What I really need is the cage nuts. I"ll have to look at the thread size. Email me with info.
