The thing was/is a basket case. He got it for the starting price of $300.00. Other than the head, it is supposed to be all there. BUT< IT has an factory (so they say) option lift on it. I had never seen one, or heard that Regs could have one. I wager that 95% of all Regulars never had one. Ive had many F-20s and 2 F-30s and none of them had one, tho I put a M&W hydrolic lift under the universal, under the gas tank on my first F-20. Anyway, I thought this rariety would make the Reg go higher. Correct my thinking please.

I saw that tractor on eBay. I believe it is just up the road from me. I don't think the lift is factory. It looks too cobbled up for that. I have seen photos of the 'factory' Regular lift, and it is thinner and smaller than the F-20 lifts. I think there were at least 3 different types of F-20 lifts made, all were similar. You have a dual lift, and two single lifts, each with different gear ratios. These can be added to a Regular as easily as to an F-20.

ya, those power lifts are fairly rare but not everybody wants one. I sold one last year for $75 if I remember right. Did he get a good manifold? I can find good heads.

I know very little on the specifics of a regular so I can't answer your real question I guess, but I do know that e-bay is kind of a funny place. I have sold several items that brought a much higher price than I would ever have guessed, and have listed items that should have generated a lot of interest and fetched a good price, and ended up practically giving it away. It all depends on who is looking for what and when they are looking.
