I am looking to bore a c-113 or 123 block out to accomodate the 3 1/4" overbore pistons and sleeves. I have heard that there are thinner o-rings available out there to compensate for the bigger bore at sealing groove. Has anyone here done this or know a source or part # for the o-ring seals? thanks , J.L.

Where are you located? I got Super C block that can take the 3 1/4" Bore pistons (I made sure, I dropped one in it). It does have a small crack behind where the carberator goes, but that can be easily repaired. If you are nearby I will let you have it for a small fee. I am in Central NY.

Well, a bit far for me... I would say keep your eyes open for a Super C block, if you want to go that route. Good luck with it! BTW, I have a Super A I put 3 1/4 bore aluminum step head pistons into. Real gutsy tractor now! Good Luck!

do NOT bore out a 113 block to except 123 sleeves, you will NEVER seal the o rings. it will ruin the block, no mater what anyone says. get a 123 block.

If you use the c-123 block the oversize kit is 3 1/4 and theres no need to change to differnt O rings.

Cliff: Only blocks with part number 354898 R1 or R2 will accomodate 3-1/4 inch piston and sleeve sets without modification.

The blocks I have (123 and 113) both will require boring, I had heard some c123's will take the overbores w/out boring but mine isn't one of them...I can get the boring done reasonable, I just need to make sure i can get the o-rings first.....

email me J, and I will try to find the info this evening. I think I bought them from McMaster. It did take awhile [trial and error gets expensive ;) ], but I was able to spec out a thinner o-ring that fits; I use two of them per cylinder. I'm assembling my second block like this now, the first has been going over a year without any trouble. You have to buy them in bulk, so let me check I may have some extras at home.

J. Lawlor: Personally, I would look for block with part numbers 354898 R1 or R2. Super A after serial number 310000 all had that block as did all Super C. It was also used on early 100 and 200 tractors. That is a reasonably good supply, thus you may find it more economical than boring another block.
