i was able to pick up 12 acres touching my 10. the 160 was just alittle out of reach today but i'll get it next time. a local farmer got it instead of an investor so the chances of it coming up for sale again in my lifetime are much better.

Sounds like farm folks are the same all over. They don't want all the land in the world, only that land which touches theirs.

Caseyc,Congratulations, 22 acres all together is a good start, you have a place where you can put a farmall to work, grass 22 calves for the summer and enjoy, grow veggies or just raise hay...good luck with it..Mike in Exeter Ontario
