Have fuel filling up oil reservoir in my TD-6 injection pump. Is the problem in the Scavenger valve? Where can I get a new one? Thanks, Dennis

I will sell you one for $1000, but you have got to take the whole machine.

Most of the time the leak is coming from the top of the plunger where the big nut is located. I usually replace them with o-rings from hardware store. If that doesn"t fix it, it could be the distribution block seal has blown out.

The primary and scaveging pump drive from shaft rear of injection pump.If scavenger pump not working or seal ( originals used packing) on shaft is leaking it will cause the problem.Couple other things in pump also but get to complecated
to explain.

Dennis,

I have the same problem on my MD, and I would like to get to the bottom of it as well. I don't think its the scavenger valve, I think its a seal or an o-ring somewhere in the main plunger.
