Does anyone have a replacement number (ex: Monroe 27638-a) for the long shock that goes on the back of the seat on an H. 30 to 40 bucks is a lot to spend for a shock (oem) when I could go to NAPA and get it for 20.....
Thanks for the help...

Looks like you posted in the wrong place -- but Stage 1 Super H's and Super M's have the non-live belly pump. Stage 2's have a live hyd pump in front of the distributer, and the hyd reservoir under the gas tank, meaning the battery had to be relocated under the seat. There were other minor differences.

Have you checked other places as the prices sure seem to vary. If the monroe # is still on there should be able to find price at NAPA. I have read that they can find a replacement just have to find someone who will take time to look one up.

I would think you could take the old shock with you and get one that matches, it's the short one that is hard to find, at places other than mail order.
