Your starters on the H and or M will inter change. If you are going to switch to 12volt, leave the starters alone. they will work just fine the way they are. Or maybe I don`t under stand what you want. Boyd

I think one from W4 fits the H, one from a W6 should fit an M. Beyond that, I don't believe any other IH starters will work, I can be corrected. I don't believe the A,B,C, ones will fit. The ones on the Super H and M are 3 bolt. The H and M starters thenselves have different part numbers. If both of your starters work and you want to convert to 12 volt, you do not need to change the starter. If you have a long time Case-IH dealer, someone there may know. Don't be discouraged by negative comments. The person in question is getting worse, and likely will be banned from this board if he keeps it up, as the moderator can trace his IP number and cut him off.

Just go buy the right starters from a reputable source.

You could figure it out yourself quite easily, if you were willing to put a little effort into doing your homework.

Novel Idea Guy, if we are all so stupid and pi$$ you off so bad why in the heck do you even bother getting on this site. Having a bad attitude every so often is acceptable but you got your duck in the wringer every day. Why don't you go bury your a$$ in the sand somewhere and leave the rest of us alone. You're a real jerk and are making the rest of us look bad, and that takes something. Harley
