Don't know if it's original, but my '57 650D has one. I know they started with the letter series, and there was also another breather on these that was dome-shaped with a screen on the bottom. Don't know about the 300-350-400-450s, but the books for my 650 show three kinds- either the dome type, the fruit jar, or the later one with the plastic "butter dish" looking bottom similar to what was on 560's, etc. I do know that on the fruit jar kind most all different size tractors took a different breather. Sorry if this didn't answer your question specifically, but if there is a definite answer I'm sure someone on this board will know it.

I believe it was an option on all letter series. Seen most often on the H and M. As to years, I don't know, it is listed as an attachment, no serial number break. I doubt if it was available the first few years of production, but I'm not sure.
