i have a super c, no fast hitch, front snow plow that uses the touch control arms and cables to lift the blade. the c has been losing hydraulic fluid into the crankcase when the touch control arms are moved. i replaced the oil seal on the pump shaft. but it still pumps the oil over into the crankcase. is there something else that i'm overlooking? help, please.

You can put a Speedy or Redi sleeve over the shaft, twenty something dollars. If the seal is an o-ring, a machine shop will have to enlarge the hole in the housing that the shaft goes through, so that it is large enough for the sleeve. If it has a regular seal, no machining is needed. The groove in the shaft can also be filled, there are special processes for this to avoid losing temper in the shaft -- I would use the sleeve.

Bill, It can only go into the crankcase via the pump. With that said, I would reccomend trying to find a replacement for the driven shaft in the pump. If you replaced all the o-rings and seals in the pump, I cant think of were else it would be leaking into the crankcase. Maybe others can help more!
