PAINT THE "M" JOHN DEERE GREEN. PULL OFF A COUPLE OF WIRES TO GET THAT PUT, PUT SOUND, THEN WHEN YOU REALIZE WHAT A MISTAKE YOU WOULD HAVE MADE IF YOU HAD TRADED IT, JUST PUT THE WIRES BACK ON, PAINT IT BACK RED, AND BE HAPPY.

Didn't think JD ever made anything to equal an M.

I have a JD B I'd trade straight across. 35 mi west of Tulsa.

May I ask as to why you feel that was the best thing you ever did? I might have to tell your S/O what you said! :>)

Ben, It would be far wiser of you to expect two John Deere"s of the same HP for one Farmall M. You might even want to have included in your deal an additional John Deere to be named later. Quite frankly, not many of us here on the Farmall forum would jump at that chance, as we know full well the virtues of owning a Farmall as opposed to those tractors containing frog pigment.

Trade and pay a penance to the church and thy sins shall be forgiven thee. Surely worse transgrssions have been forgiven. Sin no more.

Lots of farms around here have gone green because of dealer support, but just about half of them have a Farmall M around for chore duty...

I would suggest keeping the M and if you insist on everything being green, paint it! I'll give that other green iron something to look up to! :>)
