Finally, she runs, but is hard to start without starter fluid. THANKS
Where can I find the elbow screen for the carburetor on a C with the Zenith carb?? Part # ??

Hard starting usually comes down to points and timing or old gas.

I.H.# is 53796D and has been supersceded to a newer number with a B prefix B15...something. But the old # will give you a head start. These are available from I.H. but I can't recall the price.

You get both the screen and the elbow. However the elbow is configured differently. More square than round. Also the screen is shorter in length. But I have installed literally hundreds(used from A/B all the way up to the 666/686 zenith carbs)with no troubles.
