I wonder if anyone can help me with this. thinking of buying a 1930 22-36 with this manifold on but haven't seen this particular type before. Its a Straight gas version, made up of two sections. (exhaust in one casting, inlet in the other) It has the letters M.I.A cast into both sections and the exhaust exits through the hood instead of below the air cleaner. Would this be the original manifold or an after-market one? The hole in the hood where the exhaust pipe goes through looks a bit home-made!! Any thoughts or comments would be helpful.

If they don"t show up here, the pictures are in Pieces & Parts. I put in two of them, soory they were taken after dark, but hope they show what you need to know.

Send me an e-mail if you want/need more info or pictures.

That manifold is definitely not original. The 22-36 tractor was designed with the exhaust exiting on the left side (viewed from the rear) on the bottom rear corner of the engine side curtain. As Cowman said it should have the IHC logo on it. If you would like, I can take a picture of mine and post it.

Most likely aftermarket. The original should have the IH logo cast in somewhere.
