I have an f-20 that I want to put 4" pistons in, I was told M pistons and sleeves will fit. If so does it require machine work, or will they fit right in. Also I am plaining the head and putting in bigger valves. How much will this help my horsepower? Thanks, John.

Real hard to find but every once in a while someone still has an original rebuild kit (Sleeves, pistons, rings and wrist pins). These kits usually had aluminum pistons that were four inches in diameter. They haven't made these kits in twenty years, so they don't come by to often. I actually found such a kit and they are pricey. Why do you want four inch pistons?

The M uses dry sleeves and F20 sleeves are wet so no, they won't work. You might be ble to make pistons work. I have a 1939 F20 for sale that has 4 inch pistons in it. see it on my web site
