I am just getting started on restoring this A and can"t find in my books how to check the levels in the trans,pto,diferential,can anyone help curtis

If it's not in your manuals, you have the wrong ones. Transmission, rear end and pto all use the same resevoir, but you might put a pint of fluid in the pto to be sure, it will drain into the rear end. There is a plug on the left side of the trans housing, fill to that level with SAE 90 or 140. The dropped rear axle housings each has its own plug, on the inside of each one -- no drain plug, they have to be removed to change the fluid.
