What spark plugs do I use ? Where does voltage regulator mount ?? Someone has changed to 12 volt, want to go back to generator and voltage regulator. Positive or negative ground.

Depends on who might have changed stuff. If there are two holes threaded in the top of the gen a cutout was there. If there is a little short bracket down from the gen bracket there was a regulator there. Is the original serial number tag on the back side of the gen? The number on the gen will tell you which reg you need. Early Cs had cutouts on the gen.Important to have the correct reg with matching gen.

You really need to get an operators manual as it has actual photos in it. That said, the regulator likely mounts below the generator. The plug depends on the intended use. Little used tractors do best with a hotter plug, in your case Champion D21's or equivalent heat range. Positive ground.
