Super H parts on an H - ??

I am beginning a much-needed rebuild on my distillate '44 H and am trying to improve horsepower where I can. I have two questions:

1 - I have a Super H cylinder head that I would like to replace the current distillate head with. Is this a direct swap, or will I need to change over other related parts?

2 - Can I use a Super H sleeve, ring, and piston kit in my H block without re-boring? If no, do you have suggestions on where to order a thin (overbore) sleeve and step head piston set for the H block?

As always, thanks for the great advice!

Since you said you are in much need of a rebuild, you would probably be gratified with the stock hp back even if you don't change anything.

If you've got plenty of money, send some to me, otherwise go with the Super H head and H overbore, and Super H manifold and carburetor if available.

I would use the head, Do you also have the super H manifold and carb? If so use them, To use the oversize kit for a super H you need to enlarge the block $$$ Use the regular oversize kit for a H its almost as large as the super H std size it should give you 32to36 Hp a large improvement over your 24Hp dist engine. cliff
