Where can I buy a diverter valve for the power steering on my M ? And what would be the best way to go? I have an M&W power steering set up. Should I put pump and all on, or use a diverter valve. I am not looking forward to putting the pully on the front crank pully. Many thanks Boyd

Another option for a pump is to put one between the timing gears and the distributor like on the 00 and 50 series tractors. You can either use the belly pump as a reservoir or build one to fit in it's place in the torque tube.

Boyd, the flow diverter came with the Char-Lynn power steering unit I purchased. It has been installed on my SMTA and was plumbed in at a hydraulic shop. Works great! ! ! I can turn the steering wheel with one finger and they did a really neat job hiding the hoses. Hope you are as successful with yours! Good luck and let us know how it works out for you.

The term is "FLOW DIVIDER". Just about any hydraulic shop should be able to get you one. You'll need to know what the total plow is and how much your steering needs. One on-line source is:
