Have ya'll ever been told when buying a tractor or tractor part " I don't know anything about it "? I have found out the hard way that is an excuse for selling something without reprensentation or honesty. From now on that is a big red flag for me no matter what it is!

A friend of mine was in a computer store that buys/sells used computers when he spoted a special "card" we using in our industry. He asked the guy if it worked, and how much he wanted for it. The guy replied " I don't know anything about it, you can have it for 25 bucks". After he payed for it and put it in his pocket he told the computer store guy that if he had to buy it from the OEM it would be $2800.00 The guy's eyes just popped open and wanted it back ! As it turned out the card works fine, and he's way ahead ! So I guess it goes both ways sometimes.

There are times I get things that I sell that I don't know any thing about and or if its good or bad and I tell the truth about what I know. I have parts like that right now for sale I might get a box of junk at an auction etc and then sell but only know that much and or what I might find by asking around on here and or other places. Yes it can be a red flag or truth you just have to feel your way in cases like that

Yes thats a red flag I have to admit I have done it my self before. But not to sell something at a outragious price I would tell them I dont know much about these type of things and take it as is and at a reasonable price.Alot of times you will find people that do know alot about it and will take it at that price becuase they see the problem and can take advantage of you and your lower price.
