Is the bore in the block of an H the same as a SH before the sleeves are installed? Or will a SH kit fit in an H block? The H does have hi compression pistons if that makes a difference. Thanks, Andy

H is 3-3/8 Super H is 3-7/16, and had an overbore kit for 3.5 bore for the H-Super H series engine. the sleeves from the H up to the 3.5 overbore will fit the older H-SH block style. 3-5/8,,, pull out the sleeves, and run the C-175 head gasket on the H block, Hope this helps,, ChadS

SH&H are not the same bore. H is 3 9/16 bare bore don't know whatSH is BUT SH over bore or 300 pistons will slide right in w/o sleeves
