I find industrials are best suited. The 85/95 series had optional HD IBeam front axle and fabbed 1/2" plate bolster mount/engine frame instead of cast ag type.

Hi jmflem, my brother has an IH 2250 quick attach loader on his 495 (same as 484) but this loader is to heavy for 495 front end when handling round bales. He has cracked the front axle box frame.

If you are going to be transporting large round bales, I would suggest 584 or 684 and if in soft ground a 4WD.

The 484 has good hydraulics for a loader but a smaller lighter loader like the IH 1550 series. Again requie weight on the rear end if you are transporting heavy loads.

My 2 cents
