Well I been slowly but surely putting my 300 Utility back together, when I was about to put the distributer back on well first I need top dead center, but I can't get the crank to move, now I just had her moving 2 months ago when I checked my compression, but right after I power washed it. Is it possible the pistons froze in that short amount of time. Any suggestion appreciated

Wes. If you have a TA on your 300u, try pulling back on the lever to low side. Had a 460 that I redone and found out I couldn't turn crank unless TA was in low.

pull the plugs and squirt it up good with PB blaster, wd40, liq wrench, whatever you got on hand. If you power washed it, the plug recess
area will trap water. If you pulled the plugs soon after without blowing out the recess the water goes in the cylinder. She'll be stuck in a week. Soak it up good, you should be able to free it. It's always a good idea to get a machine running soon after power washing and to cover sensitive components beforehand.

Like CNKS said the starter is the best place to start. Very common for them to jam and lock up. Also, you could be stuck in gear. Have someone hold down the clutch pedal while you try to turn.

Possibly, if you got water in the cylinders somehow. If so it shouldn't be stuck too bad. Try loosening the starter first, in case the gears are jammed.

If the starter is jammed into the ring gear it will hold the flywheel firmly, and the crank is connected to the flywheel.....
