Went out to plow snow this morning with the Super C with 6 foot 3 point blade. Got her started ok at 5 degrees but the hydralics wouldn't move. After market 3 point with cables running from rocker arms. After ten minutes of warm up and working the hydralic control, they started to move. Is there a lighter fluid I should be using or is this normal. Were still barely working after an hour of use. ELMER

When Touch Control first appeared the recommended fluid was SAE 10, that was replaced with Touch Control fluid, which was replaced by HyTran. So, don't go any thinner. As Paul suggested change the fluid and clean the screen. If that doesn't work you have other problems, either pump or reservoir. I suppose you have the correct fluid level? The fluid can leak into the crankcase, in which case you need a new seal.

Thanks CNKS, fluid level's up so will check screen. Paul, will check fuel usage tomorrow. Glenn...maybe I could put lighter fluid in a pan under the system and light it, that should loosen her up! ha

Gotta be a smart aleck here....I don't think any hydraulic system operates well on lighter fluid. Glenn

While on the subject of gas consumption (from a previous post) how much fuel did it use in an hours time?

As for the hydraulics, maybe their is a fair share of moisture mixed in with the fluid???
