My farmall c will be running fine then just die like it lost its electric power it does not have a mag. Then it won't crank or anything it is like the battery is dead. Then I pull start it it will fire right up and run fine I can then shut it off and restart it no problem. I changed the battery cables and battery but still didn't help. Thanks for the help

I'm going to guess that you have a very bad connection either at the battery or at the other end of either or both of the battery cables. Check them out and clean them up. Should help at least...

If it won't crank, about the only thing could be the ground cable. Where are you grounding it to?

I don't know much about tractors but I had a similar problem with my 200 and I figured out that the carb was flooding if the throttle was too high for too long. If that is the problem just don't crack it up so high.
