Can someone please help me identify a block I am looking to purchase.

The number is a 356318R2. It is suppose to be a C-113. However, it does not match either my other C-113 blocks or C-123 blocks. Anyone know what it is?

Please help!! THANKS!!!

Don't recognize the number. Could it be for a power unit (notch for starter to mount to front of flywheel)?

Why yes it does. Excellent call! I didn't notice that. Do you know if it would fit a Farmall A?

THANKS MUCH!!!!

My Dad and me put one in a Super A a long time ago and we took the piece out of the busted block and tacked it in place where the starter hole is on the power unit block. My Nephew has the same tractor now. You might want to look to make sure the crank has the hole drilled for the drive shaft and pilot bearing. I have heard some don't.

Shaggy,

Did the holes in the new block match up to the torque tube bell housing? Was the welded in piece just put in for looks or did there need to be a hole there for mounting. I guess, will my welds have to be structural?

Thanks!!

The remaining holes will line up. Structural integrity is probably a minor point. Covering the starter hole is cosmetic for the most part. I saw one tractor that had a piece of wood fitted to the hole. With red paint, it wasn't obvious from 10 feet.
