Just wwondering, is there casting marks or a book available that shows all the implements that a sa took? If I emailed some pics could some of you guys tell me what they are? I looked at binder books and have done alot of forum reading. Came up with 3 cult #rs, a144,a452,a647 cultivators being available at that time and a 1 bottom 2 way plow and a 151 disk plow referenced on this form and binder. What is a 2 way plow? Just trying ti figure out what paper work to track down.

Thanks for all the help.

The two-way plow is one that has a lay for tossing the dirt to the right and another one for tossing it to the left. You only put one down at a time. This allowed the farmer to plow back-and-forth across a field instead of going around-and-around it. There were all kinds of setups. The ones for your SA and my C were lifted independently by the rockshafts. On the mounted plows they would rotate 180 degrees depending on the direction through the field. I saw a pull type last fall that rolled like an old tumblebug going end-over-end.

I can't help you with identifying your implements. Last week a picked up a parts catallog for the implements for the C. That is going to be useful to me as I restore the a plow and cultivator for my C. If you are going to be getting very many implements this may be a good investment. Just my $0.02 worth.
