Was wondering if anyone knows someone or who themselves own a Belle City or an International threshing machine, or any other one in working (or close to it) condition. Would like to buy one for our club to use, but have found, like everything else in our world, it's a matter of how much money you have, and I just thought it would be nice to show the younger people how things were done before all the conveniences we have now...considering it seems I can buy a combine now cheaper than a threshing machine...can't believe the same machine I REALLY, REALLY hated to work with can be "worth" so much

Dave, Where are you located, as threshing machines aren"t real covenient to move. I have one in Central NY State I might consider selling. Roger

I"m located in central Wisconsin. What do you know about the threshing machine that you have and about how much are you asking for it?

Dave,

The threshing macine is a model 20 x 32, steel wheels, wood frame with sheet metal, and has the grain weigher. The decals are very readable and one says Belle City and farther back it says New Racine. The pole has been cut down for tractor use but it looks like they just cut the pole in two and over laped them. I think I researched it one time and figured it to be around the 1918-1920 time era. Three years ago we threshed with it at one of our shows and it did a decent job on the oats that we had(kind of weedy). I have some pictures around here some where that I could try and dig out if you are interested. It is a little dusty from sitting in my barn but all of the belts are with it. I am asking $750. If you want to get in touch my email is rbkarn@clarityconnect.com
