I am hoping to convert my ignition on my 340 to electronic but cannot find where to purchase. I also wonder how bad is it to install. Any help appreciated.

You can also purchase through the tractor parts link on left side of this page. Or if you go to archives there are other places mentioned. If you don't see the one listed you need, call the supplier.

That is the first place I looked the only thing listed is an entire distibutor assembly with electronic ignition built in. I try to find any thing that is on this site before posting. If you can find it let me know. would not be the first time I did not see something.

Got to:

www.pertronix.com

There is contact information there. Find out what part number you need, and ask if they can direct you to a dealer in your area.

Local auto supplies can often order them for you, and having the correct part number from the factory makes it easier. Pricing will vary, and you may find the best deal on-line, or locally, if they're willing to deal a bit.
