I have a farmall c that i was thinking about buying a 3 point hitch for it. the tractor does not have a fast hitch or anyting,. Since the hitch kit is kind of expensive i wondered if any one has put one on their tractor and how well it worked. I want it to use a blade , move bales, maybe run a brush hog and things like that. thank you

Saginaw County Tractor Parts -- the best there is. The 3-point for the C is not on the web site but they have them. Note that theirs has a hydraulic cylinder and does not operate off the rockshaft like Worksavers do.

Make sure your tractors rear end is capable of mounting the 3pt to it. The early C's were not drilled or tapped to mount the hardware for that hitch.

You are thinking of fast hitch, the 3-point is mounted to the axle housings. My 1950 C is drilled for fast hitch.

Contact Kay at K-S Tires in Lawrence, Kansas. 785-843-3222. He has one that he just took off of his "C" that he told me yesterday that he wanted to sell it.

GOOD LUCK
