I would like to begin work on my 1935 F30-N. I know I will need gaskets, and all the rebuild items, bearings, rings etc. Does amyone have conversion charts and experience putting new style bearings in the rods and mains? How about over bore pistons and sleeves with a combination of different rods and pistons? Is a longer stroke crank available out of another series I-H that can be adapted into the F30 block? Thanks, Alan

I have read where some guys know how to warm these engines up, but these are an expensive engine to rebuild back to even stock condition.
Parts are still avaiable. What are you talking about "new style" bearings? Never heard anyone doing this.

the F30 uses a ball bearing crank with no center main, any conversion would be a MAJOR engineering project. I have a couple of new rod bearings but unless yours are realy bad you just remove shims. rings can be found or you can clean yours up and reinstall.

Do you have any other parts in case I find some nasty problems when I open up the engine? It is currently stuck.
